Membership Information
Regular Membership: Any lawyer who resides in Nueces County, Texas, maintains an office for the practice of law in Nueces County, Texas, or conducts a substantial portion (40 percent or more) of his/her practice in Nueces County, Texas, including practicing the majority of his/her time before courts located within the physical boundaries of in Nueces County, Texas, and who is in good standing in the State Bar of Texas or who is eligible to practice before the highest court of any state of the United States of America, may, upon making of initial application for Regular Membership in the Association and on payment of 100% of the annual Association Membership dues then in effect for Regular Members, become a Regular Member of the Association.
Associate Membership: Any lawyer who does not meet all the qualifications for Regular Membership but who is either in good standing in the State Bar of Texas or eligible to practice before the highest court of any state of the United States of America and who practices before courts in Nueces County, Texas, or is an officer of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of an armed force of the United States or a Judge Advocate of the United States Marine Corps, may, upon making application for Associate Membership in the Association and on payment of 100% of the annual dues then in effect for Associate Members, shall become an Associate Member of the Association. Associate Members shall have all privileges of Regular Members except the right to vote and the right to hold elective office in the Association.
Application Procedures and Admission: Application for Regular or Associate Membership in the Association shall be in writing on such forms as may be furnished and prescribed by the Board of Directors of the Association. The application shall be mailed or delivered to the Association’s Principal Place of Business, 555 North Carancahua Street, Suite 260, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78401-0814. An applicant shall be admitted to Regular or Associate membership, as the case may be, upon majority vote of the Board of Directors. Membership in the Association is not transferable or assignable.

- SOLO, FIRMS, & JUDGES: $100.00
- GOVERNMENT/PUBLIC LAWYERS OTHER THAN JUDGES: $50.00
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (OUT OF COUNTY, MILITARY LAWYERS, & LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN STATE OTHER THAN TEXAS): $50.00
